ROOTZ x TURBINA
Thursday, November 19, 2026 · 20:00–03:00
Klubszoba · Budapest
November brings ROOTZ back to Klubszoba, and back to Thursday.
We begin at 20:00, keeping the first half hour free to enter. There is something we want to keep exploring in these earlier gatherings: giving the music our attention while the evening is still taking shape. Arriving for the opening, hearing where it begins, becoming part of what follows.
Switch Nollie and DJ Kristai share the first two and a half hours. Switch Nollie moves widely through psychedelic dance music; Kristai approaches techno, trance and acid with a particular appetite for percussion. Their b2b is the starting point for this edition: room for the strange, the loose and the insistent to find their way into the same set.
Rovizz joins us with a more abrasive edge. A co-founder of Quasar and resident at Vektor, he works with raw textures and hypnotic repetition, keeping the groove present as the pressure rises. His connection to the room already runs through nights at Turbina; here, it meets the ROOTZ circle.
Atashi and Bencsama, ROOTZ founders and residents, bring two different relationships with musical time. Atashi’s comes through collecting records and staying with a groove, letting small changes become physical. Bencsama’s draws on classical music and performance, moving through tension, interruption and release. Together with our guests, they give this Thursday its particular range: from wandering, trippy selections to the tighter pull of techno.
ROOTZ keeps growing through these encounters. People who play, organise, listen and dance, often moving between those roles. Returning to Klubszoba means picking up those relationships again, with another combination behind the decks and all of us bringing something back into the room.
We’re looking forward to being there together.
