🎷 Jazzelünk 🎹 Omasta (PL) plays Madlib 🎷

A krakkói jazz-hop banda, megalakulása után egyből a gázra lépett: Slum Village előzenekara, fellépések a Gent Jazzen és a londoni Ronnie Scott’s színpadán.

Idén tavasszal J Dilla előtt tisztelegtek egy egész európai turnéval – szeptemberben pedig új műsorral indulnak útnak, ezúttal Madlib zenéjére építve.
Ennek a keretein belül látjuk őket vendégül a Pontionon.

A debütalbum, Jazz Report from the Hood októberben érkezik az Astigmatic Records kiadónál – addig is élőben lehet elkapni őket, amíg forró a beat!

Omasta draws inspiration from street and jazz culture. After their debut show at Krakow's Paul's Boutique, Omasta were invited to play as opener of Slum Village in Poland and at Belgium's Gent Jazz Festival and for two concerts at London's Ronnies Scott's Jazz Club.

For Dilla month in 2025 they were doing a special tribute to the iconic hip hop producer J Dilla in multiple cities around Europe (Brussels, Enschede, Rotterdam, London, Oxford, Lisbon). Now they want to pay homage to another great producer, Madlib. In September hitting the road to play this dedicated set to Madlib music.

Omasta will be releasing their debut album “Jazz Report from the Hood” in October, 2025 on the always amazing Polish record label Astigmatic Records.
